4th o July

I think there should be two fourths...one in summer and one in winter.  Until my kids are in their teens, I'll celebrate the winter one - with a BBQ lunch and fireworks at 5:30 - bed by 8 - super dreamy.

This year I almost didn't pull it off.  Oh yes - we had the corn and the sun chips and the water play...but I almost skipped 'the works'

Well - just in the nick of time we pulled up curbside to a local spot, no crowds and plenty of parking.  We caught as much of the show as we could stay awake for and then were back home almost as soon as the show ended.  

Phew....Fireworks 2014 - Check!
