Family Reunion Time

We had our East Coast cousin in town on a solo vacation- what a special treat.  His first family reunion and slumber party at our house - yay!!!

of course would it be a family reunion without them?  Well perhaps...but could we get along and speak with each other....well that's another story :)

"Grandpa...can you put batteries in my remote control snake...."  

and so begins what is sure to be a family legend.  You see, Grandma has enlisted little brother in what has been a life-long quest to prank Grandpa.  So on this night, little brother remembered his remote control snake....with a suspicious five year old smile, he had grandpa help him replace the batteries.... he then not-no-sneakily asked Grandpa which side of the bed he slept on....and once he found out...he disappeared running loudly down the hall.  Grandpa was pretty sure what was in store for him...and to his un-surprise...he found a lump on his side of the bed when he went to sleep that night. But as he took a few steps closer...the lump moved - and Grandpa screamed (though he'll deny it) and jumped to the ceiling.....and then there was heard little bits of laughter under the bed....where little brother was laying...remote control in hand...  Gotcha Grandpa
