VISITORS!!!!

Hooray - our favorite visitors were in town!!! Grandma & Grandpa!!  We had a very special week-long bonanza with both of them!!  There were Easter eggs to hide, birthdays to celebrate, iPad games to be played....and just some all around fun times to share.... 

Like family breakfasts- my Dad's favorite (or not)...hee hee  He complains every time, but I think he actually enjoys waking up to the goofy grandkids.  And, with mom in town to have the coffee hot n ready - well, it's hard to complain.  For posterity:

I can hardly complain, as you can see I got spoiled too...a little congratulations present on my new job!!

Kids were concerned about Grandma's ability to enjoy Easter, so they asked me to look up gluten-free candy to make sure Grandma could have something sweet in in her eggs.  Holy moly, there's quite a few to choose from!  The kids caught a quick glance of the cake below on the internet and were dying to make it - just the sight of it made me puke a little (must be the Peeps) - anyways, turns out M & Ms and Peeps are gluten-free - well, after we found that out, no other cake would do for Grandma's birthday party.  OMG we ate that cake all week!!  And actually, it was delicious - even the Peeps!
