Another favorite trick, though usually w/ chonies:

In fact, we now have to have a rule in our house "you can only put your own chonies on your head"

We recently had a park playdate - just us two.  It was amazing to see him do all the things that used to have me on the edge of my seat biting my nails.  Now he's looking for ways to add danger to the regular ol park stuff - climbing on top of covered slides and hanging by one arm off the edge - oi!
