Lake Lure

So the reason for our blog black-out was an amazing whirlwind trip to the East Coast- family reunion season is also upon us! For some reason I was suddenly shy with the camera - so for now just pictures of the boat ride - once Grandma Vicky sends us her pictures we'll fill out the experience for you.

This is LuLu's first boat ride - she was not too thrilled about the life vest - until we pointed out that Diego wears a vest (of the Dora & Diego Nick Jr cartoon fame)..and then she seemed ok. She was a little unsure of the speed at first - but by the end she and dad were at the healm (is that the right word...I'm without a doubt a land-lover so don't ask me)....anyways with grandmas, grandpas, great grandmas, great granpas, aunties, mom and dad on board - hugs could always be had when needed.

We had a fantastic time - thanks much to the generosity of our family and extended family that spoiled LuLu rotten and spoiled us rotten too! No wonder we keep coming back every year!
