Mother's Day

We started with a hike...LuLu really wanted to go "into the jungle"...but a few more hikes and she'll get the idea to stay on the path. It was a short but steep trail down to the water - LuLu was a champ! I think we've got a hiker on our hands! Dad on the other hand was less than thrilled at the hike selection and has vowed to be in charge of the next selection. The water's edge was littered confetti-style with droppings from all the animals the night before. We waived at a few boats and then made a quick exit before LuLu decided to pick up "the rocks."

After that a delicious lunch and a big family nap - is there anything better? Then later that afternoon after things cooled down a bit we had a fun trip to the park. All-in-all it was a fantastic day...and did I mention that Daddy was in charge of poop patrol? The best gift ever....next to the collage of recordings Daddy E dubbed for me starting from when LuLu was teeny tiny!!
