Parrrr-Teeeeeh

It's that time of year !! Bowling Bonanza with our favorite family + 1 imported son!  Hooray!  Bowling was as fun as ever - and with lots of help it was a nice break for mom too.  LB did a great job - still a big fan of the running start to get the ball off to a good and fast beginning.  Lulu is still working on her technique - we've eliminated the 'lobbing' so that's a good start, but still haven't found an approach that looks natural.  Nontheless she had a great time.   Mom tried to pull a hat trick out of her...well, hat I guess - a strike in frame ten followed by a spare (I know, it will never ever happen again) BUT she still fell one point shy of victory - ROBBED I say!!!

What follows next is a little craziness.  Thanks to Groupon (and Auntie Kelley) we were treated to a game of Lazer Tag.  Kiddos weren't too sure at first, but I haven't stopped hearing the tumbling buzz of excitement from Lulu since we left (over 5 hours ago!! Seriously).
And LB feels the same and then some!

And wait there's more... in addition to bowling and laser tag, we also had $40 for the arcade.  Here mother and daughter go head to head in the champion motocross world tour.....Julia prevailed (again) - she raced like a champ.  Kiddos blew through the arcade in a ticket-earning-frenzy which resulted in the  selection of 8 pieces of hard-won penny candy at the ticket counter (SUCH a scam it KILLS me!!) Lulu spun the ticket wheel and won 100 tickets, it was quite  shining moment for her...so ultimately all worth it in the end.

BUT that's not all folks...we also had $12 to spend at the snack shack (to augment the pizza delivery Auntie Kelley expertly arranged during bowling and between laser tag).  Treats for everyone!

So of course it's ICE CREAM time!!!!
