...so how could you possibly vote any other way? Well, the backstory to all this , in my humble opinion, is of absolutely no consequence. It was in fact a marvelous afternoon....even though it was Plan B. And to demonstrate faith in that...here it is....the backstory:

It's not my fault the birthday party invitation was so egregiously unclear for a busy mommy that only 'skims' documents rather than read them, that the party start time, in fact was the party end time. Thankfully we showed up just in time to the bouncy house place to hork down a few pieces of pizza, a juice box, and a slice of cake AND to hear about the great times they had just had bouncing for hours with all of her best-friends-ever from school. It truly was a GREAT 15 minutes of fun. <>

So....putting on my best improv routine - we had a party of our own! Thankfully just down the street was this mini-mecca of fun. We ended up having a fairly good time, despite still feeling grumpy about missing our friends, the party, not bouncing, and all of this transpiring during the nap-time window.
