Long time No Blog....

No apologies. Rests are crucial for endurance. Here's the latest:

Little Brother:
He can't seem to keep his clothes on...great - another free spirit in the family! He's a bit of a thrill seeker, likes to spin til he can't stand up straight, jump, climb, and on and on. He's quite lovable and always up for a hug, and a kiss on the "yips". This past December he decided he didn't like diapers anymore - so he potty trained (nights and days) in one day - and hasn't looked back - no complaints here! Though in the same weekend, he decided no more crib and that he could dress himself - that's when I started to balk...I wasn't quite ready yet to have him grow up so fast! Double that sentiment this last month when he decided he pees standing up. Um - no you don't - not in mommy's house - SIT Boy SIT! (so he sits...at least for another year- sorry fellas). Though lately he likes his privacy while doing his business and makes me shut the door. He is VERY selective about his clothes – spiderman, trucks (esp garbage or construxn), dinosaurs, in that order He's spunky and mischievous and now at 2 1/2 is beginning to test boundaries - Super.

Language: His language rapidly developing - apparently many conversations still rely on a "mama translation" but I get it - and that makes my life WAY easier. His new favorite word is yeppee for 'yes,' his c's and ch's are all f's, he's starting to thinks things are "fool" and "awesome", Nismas nights (xmas lights), chonees (underwear), freeze = squeeze, chis = kiss, sistur,
Maaaamaaaa where rrrrrrrr uuuuuuu

Toys/Past-times: He likes sticks, and mud - better yet sticks AND mud, trucks, balls, etc. Fridays are the best because its garbage day - so we watch and wave weekly, he likes his trike, scooter and wagon. Mostly he likes rough-housing with his sister - he's got quite a take-down - and LuLu crumbles like and old skyscraper - it's pretty impressive. He loves music and bangs his head to the beat (go white boy!), he loves to make me coffee - then he'll add milk, stir, and blow to cool it off - ooohhh I can't wait til its not considered child endangerment to put that boy in front of my Mr Coffee!!! He also likes to play with hangers, hang them off of door knobs and each other and make a big montage. He likes riding toys, big wheels, cars, trains, train table zhsu zhsu “my zhsu zhsu” and loves spideraman...Everything need 'baddedies' when it doesn’t work
