Brought to you by the letter 'T'

Today was a busy day - we woke up to one ticked off little dude - apparently his first tooth has been followed closely by a second! YIKES - poor kiddo! Both bottom teeth are poking through now and threatening to upset his usual easy going temperament. A little Tylenol to help him on his merry way and then....

Once the sitter arrived we packed our bags and headed to the surgery outpatient center with Little LuLu in tow....it was time for tubes in her ears. We tried everything else and couldn't seem to keep those ear infections at bay...so today was the day. She was a champ! She was the cutest kiddo in the big hospital bed - she kept wanting me to read the book "Bobby's bad ear ache" to her over and over again. Then the Versed took effect and she was in LaLa Land - and still quite sweet. The nurse said she wouldn't remember a thing, but she did not like wearing the poofy hospital hat and she remembers that. It was hard to see her a little goofy - but even harder to watch them wheel her away. Broke my heart when she looked back for us. But like so much in life, there were lots of worries but everything worked out fine. The doctor said she had "ear glue" and the tubes should help with her hearing immediately. She was a little punky for about 30 minutes and then the rest of the day she's been absolutely normal. Some apple juice, jello, goldfish and her soy milk and she's good as new. What a trooper! Here's hoping she's feeling lots better in the days to come.

What a SUPER TROOPER!!! So pleased to hear she's doing well. I hope she realizes as a teenager she can't pretend NOT to hear you. Or has she been using that trick now?!?! Hugs to you all!

So glad the tubes went well for sweet Lulu. I am glad to hear you and bigE got through ok as well. "ear glue" makes it sound like tubes were definitely the right way to go! Tengo un coche en mi blusa, so I better go.
