Christmas #2

We had two Christmas celebrations - what was to be celebrated on Christmas Eve was moved to the 27th with Big E's family. NO - the drums are NOT ours (thank goodness) although I can't entirely rule it out in our future; you can see the fun LuLu was having. Big E really wants a drummer in the family and so far LuLu's personality seems to fit - he already got her a flute and a xylophone (um yeah, he's going to have to start staying home more if he's going to be buying musical gifts for a toddler!)

We had a Hawaiian feast this year - it was delicious!! Each year E's family picks a country and builds a meal around their traditional foods - we've done Spain and Greece so far - and yes, I know Hawaii isn't a country but in honor of our new President it seemed like a great idea (especially since it was mine!!) So - pulled pork sandwiches, fish tacos, sushi - mmm mmm mmm - I ate my fill and then some! We might have to do it again next year it was so good!
