I Like Big Trucks....& Dinosaurs

Yesterday LuLu got to experience her first ride in a tow truck - she loved it! Having a breakdown with a 2 yr old is way less stressful then when you are by yourself! We stood on the corner waving at all the cars going by (mommy was telling folks to move over lest they hit our car, but LuLu was just spreading some toddler cheer). It was fun. Then the big truck came and we got to warm up inside and watch Daddy's car go for a ride. Now keep in mind we can laugh and smile at this experience because we were able to roll forward off of the railroad track (phew!) - the car was stuck in gear so we couldn't get pushed out of the way. LuLu LOVED the tow truck - she got to sit on the bench seat and look at the big dials and steering wheel. She was quite chatty with the driver she told him " I like big trucks....and dinosaurs....RRRROOOOOAAARRRR!!" It was pretty cute. So like any deviant misbehaving auto - our car performed famously for our mechanic - giving him only a hint of the absolute horror it gave me - and then driving perfectly all around town. GREAT! But i think they believe me...or at a least its worth a good fake for 1,000 bucks or so! Ah - it's only money! Maybe the ride in the firetruck will be cheaper!
